If you're gonna bash bands atleast get their genre right. ABACABB is deathcore; COTC is deathgrind; Waking the Cadaver is also deathcore; PsyOpus is tech metal.
Anyway: I understand why people hate deathcore. It's become a scene trend. I like it, though. Nothing beats a chokka-chokka snare behind vocals that sound like someone's vomiting out their insides. Whether you like the band or not, this video is hilarious: YouTube - Waking The Cadaver - Chased Through The Woods |

Not true: Deathcore is a fusion of death metal and metalcore, typically featuring the blast beats and guttural vocals of death metal and the breakdowns of metalcore. Riffing is a mix of metalcore and death metal.

No, that's a common misconception.
Deathcore is too crappy to have it's own genre, especially a word that sounds as cool as 'Deathcore'. Deathcore is a lie. The correct term is generic. Also, even if anyone was to actually consider Deathcore a genre, Waking the Cadaver would not fall under it, they would fall under Deathgrind, a hybrid of Death Metal and Grindcore, featuring usually fast songs with pointless lyrics about gruesome fictional stories sung by hungry pigs, surrounded by overpowering crunchy power chords and unnecessary semi-breakdowns. |

I can see WtC as deathgrind, except for that they do have 'semi-breakdowns', and their guitars aren't as noisy as deathgrind acts like CotC and Leng Tch'e. Agree to disagree, though.
