Screamers (hardcore, screamo, hardcore, band)

I picked Converge. But the people I would say for best screamers aren't really from Hardcore and Emo bands. I think more of the people who have an original scream are in metal bands, with the exception of Converge and maybe a few others.

They can be, but I don't think any more than Screamo or Hardcore screams can be.

What about Tim Kinsella screaming in Make Believe (or in general)? Those are pretty badass and very honest sounding.

^Hellz yea. He goes crazy in some of the tapes of him with Cap'n Jazz. Tis sweet.

I think June Paik does the best job of using screams for emphasis. Not a breath wasted.

I voted Saetia. 1905 is a close second, and they have the best clean vocals of any screamo band I have heard.

I really don't like the Fall of Troy's screams. Way too high pitched and shrill, and this is coming from someone who loves the Blood Brothers. It was funny how they psyched you out on Manipulator by putting some decent screams in the first couple tracks, but then sneaking in Thomas's annoying screams later on. They are unique, though.

Kaospilot's singer sounds great, and the accent adds to his character. too bad his vocals are usually lower in the mix

oh yeah, to add, seriously, about metal bands, they got dudes with inhuman sustain and really sick sounding screaming, but it's all too mechanical for me and doesn't even seem half as human as screamo bands could be. that's just me.
