If it's not S. for scallen, what does it stands for?

cheers
that definietly stands for scallen....but if he did anything besides release that album i would be surprised...i knew him pretty well back then,he set up tours for my band, almost released our record......I don't remember him playing guitar at all....so if anything....he may have played a note on it....or just helped them with song structure ideas......on a side note...Scallen has the most amazing video game collection i have ever seen in my life..its really incredible.....and his love for hummus makes the van smell like ****.

i was in a band nobody ever heard of called The gapscatter recovery....Shawn was going to put out our first record on Spectra Sonic sound, so he hooked us up with a short tour through Canada with 3penny......Shawn was really nice and all, but we had a full length american tour set up and he was taking to long to make things happen with our album which we wanted to have copies of for tour......so we decided to have his buddy to the artwork for it, but we were actually made our own label and put out the album ourselves......but shawn and his label treated us very well for kids who weren't even really signed with him yet....and the shows we played there were a ton of fun....the audiences were very receptive toward us.

Really? I remember reading a review a while back about a band called Staynless (who are amazing)... ahh here it is: Splendid E-zine: at a glance reviews - January 10, 2000 (check the 2nd to last review). I was never big on Fugazi, but i could always get down to some GPR.
What Canadian bands did you play with? There were a ton of small Canadian bands in the late 90s that are almost impossible to track down! And i'd love to hear the rest of your stuff

thats what everyone used to tell us....I never saw the connection...but thats definitely a goodband to be compared too.....its funny, when we did that tour in Canada a lot of the Flyers had our name like this:

The Gapscatter Recovery
(they sound like fugazi or Hoover)

instead of like...putting where we were from or anything....I don't know...i thought it was funny.......i looked us up on Garage band one time...it said we sound like: poop..which could also be accurate
