Optimus Prime (punk, Europe, Russian, effects, screamo)

This band never caught my attention until I heard their new split w/ Gone With the Pain.

First screamo band out of Russia? lawlz. They're really into phaser effects and stuff. Plus they have a viola player.

The best song (in my opinion) is "Hold Out Your Hands" - it's addicting.
"Song of Unborn Children" has to be 2nd.

there are a lot of screamo bands coming out from russia. i remember talking to this one guy on slsk before, he shared ****loads of russian history with me. Optimus Prime isn't the first though. i forgot what it was, but i'm pretty sure it had a bald dude in it.

Ah, word. I just never hear much about Russia. It's always most rest of Europe besides the eastern portion, although I'm starting to hear a bit more and more slowly. I know they werent obviously the first, but this was the first one I've heard that isnt totally obscure or dead.

But anyways, lets stay on topic. I've been listening to this bands songs off the split a lot the past 2 weeks. It really grew on me.
