emo as a trend? bother you? (hardcore, screamo, hardcore, cover)

soo it really pisses me off how all thesee poeple started to listen to "emo' cause its the cool thing to do. i remeber when nobody knew who the hell my chemical romance now they are all over mtv.

what are your thoughts on this?

I agree with urban hatemonger on this one. BUT I still think emo is annoying-- but I dont listen to it and I never have. But poeple can listen to whatever they want.

I dun understand the huge deal. I dont listen to emo either, unless you count snowpatrol as emo, cause i hate it. Its retarded, screamo is the plague of the nation your right. HOWEVER, all you really have to do is change the station.....

That alone has made me like you. I hate it when people complain about a certain genre, its not as if anyones making them listen to it. Fair enough if youre saying why you dont like a genre, but theres a difference between that and complaining about it.

ok YEAH but the rediculously populare screamo trend thats just broken out still pisses me off. I like blue and yellow and noises and kisses by the used and some stuff by finch, I've never cared much about screamo one way or the other until it got really annoying. My girlfriend and all her fiends got into it alot pfffft. but yeah, reguardless, your right it doesnt really matter. but just for the record, it annoys me

i think people are overlooking that what is cool is controlled by Music TeleVision. Therefore, since they are playing stupid rap bullsmit, rap is cool. I mean, what are most kids listening to? rap.
