Default Bloodlet

..were a Florida based metalcore/hardcore band, back in the heyday of Victory records. They were utterly awesome, with ultra tight musicianship, including a drummer (Charlie King) that if not at least mentioned in your top whateverthe**** list of punk drummers, would appall me. A fretless bass was also introduced on their second release, the masterpiece Entheogen. That's chocked full of visceral, destructive, angst ridden hardcore, and I'd go as far as to say the best metalcore record ever released, it is in my eyes, so whatever.

This band was always really underlooked in terms of metalcore, probably because they're kind of difficult to get into. When I was younger I liked their first album but had a harder time with the later stuff. I'm going to have to get back into it, listening to Entheogen again I don't know what was wrong with me.

Bloodlet and Deadguy are by far the best things that Victory ever did
