no, no, and no. The best years for punk were 1977, 1994, and 1995. The best years for hardcore were 1980, 1982, and 2000. The best years for emo were 1994-2001

This must be someone younger than me, because I feel like the best years for this wave of music were 2000-2006...

...but I'm just biased because I was going to a lot of shows and having a lot of fun during those six years. My absolute best times were the four years of 2003-2007, after that point a lot of the fun started to disappear.
