Borderline Bands (lyrics, music video, indie, pop, fan)

There has been a lot of talk about bands that seem emo
I hear a lot about:
Something Corporate
The Starting line
The Postal Service ect...

So i would kinda like a final word on some bands like these 3. Because i listen to all of them...

I'd say the first two are emo, but the postal service in indie

the starting line & something corporate have that emo-ish vibe and emo-ish lyrics but its kinda like pop-y style as far as i know something corporate is the only one to have a moderately slow song... the starting line seem like those bands where in the music videos it stops for a second or two then the guitars come back and the camera jiggles, not like that has anything to do with anything. they seem like they fit in the crowd of like those lame blonde girls who shop at hot topic and get all cheerleader-y when their song gets played on the radio.... but hey what might be right for one may not be right for some. cause the world dont move to just one drum.

Emo music wrapped up with a pop bow put on top for the first two...Juliana Theory is okay, and Modest Mouse is indie, but I'm a fan of Modest Mouse

Modest Mouse is signed to Epic. They were indie six years ago, but not now. "Indie" isn't a genre.
