Question Songs To Cheer Up Someone After A Breakup

I am trying to compile a list of songs to put on a cd to cheer up my dearest friend who just broke it off with a very serious girlfriend...He listens to more hardcore music than I do and i don't really know where to start. Any suggestions would be good. Thanks!!!

Well, as long as we're not confined to hardcore & emo , Jimmy Eat World is pretty upbeat at times. For me anyways.
