I guess so. I think I just got really annoyed by the riff on Only Shallow after my friend played it for the billionth time once and I just sorta wrote them off for good after that.

I guess they're just not my style, eh?

I actually really liked the songs that Kevin Sheilds wrote for Lost in Translation.

They're pretty good, I just got Isn't Anything, and I'll probably get Loveless after I get Psychocandy, Spiderland, Confusion is Sex, and Junkyard (Birthday Party.)

Loveless is easily one of the best albums of the 90s.

I'd like them to get back together so I could watch them live, but another album would probably be a mistake.

I love them! I wish their were more albums to listen to!

We have a band that loves them too! I would love to get your view of. Most people don't geet them because they love MBV and the old sound that most can't understand. Thanks for posting this thread so I can get the opinon of fans of MBV on this band.

The band is called Blue Diner and they are from Boston. You can hear their tunes online on fiberlineaudio - check them out in the rock section. Otherwise here is a link to listen and let me know if they are following in the footsteps of their mentors....

All the best,
