the chorus (i guess you could call it that) in Loomer, beginning at just before 40 seconds, is one of my favourite moments on Loveless. Loomer is excellent.

the pre-'Isn't Anything' EP's, 'ecstasy' and 'strawberry wine' i've recently discovered are brilliant, they were basically just fuzzed-out C86 indie-poppers before they took it to the next level... Shields has said in interviews how much he loves the Beatles, he knows the score.

Somehow I think they'll omit those particular gems from the reunion shows... which, I might add, I AM ATTENDING. *laughs a smug bastard laugh and falls off chair*

I really would love to go to one of those shows, but there are none in PA. I would have to go to New York and I can't drive. I don't even know any upperclassmen in my highschool who like MBV enough to go to New York for them.

I am going to die if I don't get to see Only Shallow or Soon live...

The fact you haven't mentioned "Sometimes" establishes the fact that YOU are wrong

seriously, "Blown a Wish" over Sometimes (or even Loomer)? Eh....no.

I think Sometimes' popularity may have been helped by its inclusion in Lost In Translation. It is definitely a classic though.

Yes it was, Kevin Shields compiled the soundtrack for that movie.
