Default The Beta Band - recommended eclectic band

Anyone know of, or better yet, like the Beta Band?

They're a fairly unknown band from Scotland. Their sound is very eclectic - I just recently got their Three EPs CD, and within the first three or four tracks, I can pick out elements of alternative folk, low-tech hip-hop and just general alt/indie music.

I urge to at least check out the song Dry the Rain, as it is probably the easiest to enjoy out of what I've heard (and still currently my favourite).

I'll try to check it out in the near future. I haven't heard of them myself, and I don't believe I've heard friends talking about them. But who knows?

I picked up their cd, Heroes to Zeroes a few weeks ago and I loved it. Been playing Easy on my show, but also love Space. Definitely worth checking out.

..bump...
wow, i cant believe nobody ever really talked about these guys. i have all 3 albums and a cd dubbed "the three eps" which is in my opinion the best. very cool indy rock/space rock/electronica. the kinda songs you get lost in.
listen to 'dry the rain' single first... it might help hook you. (and you might remember it from high fidelity)
