I'm more confused than shocked actually...

Aren't you aware that Coldplay have just milked Radiohead's success? Coldplay are the poppy and ****ty version of Radiohead and won't leave our radios because of Radiohead, who have about 10^234234 times less fans and make a **** load less money, despite that fact that they are almost genius musicians and Coldplay can't even read music let alone compose anything that's not giving the dumbed down masses pseudo-art that they can easily grasp and digest.

Like every ****ty mainstream band, Coldplay have created a cliched homogenised hit sound that will receive acceptance in all markets of many countries by never progressing and thereby never challenging the audience... but what makes this worst is that this has only been possible because of Radiohead.

so lemme get this straight, apart from dontrunmeover ( i dunno if you were just joking ), noone else likes coldplay??? well i fucking love them, all 3 albums are exellent, the latest one maybe the best of them all...

I do like Coldplay. A lot. I'm not ridiculous enough to dislike a band because they are happy to write good, memorable melodies instead of challenging their audience.

I'll come back to this point. Now, like I said, I like Coldplay music a lot. I like Radiohead's music more. BUT, like you've pointed out, although Radiohead have been successful (financially), Coldplay have been far more successful.

Bearing this in mind, who would you say is smarter, the members of Coldplay or the members of Radiohead? The guys who make music which musos like, or the guys who make music that the dumbed-down masses like and who rake it in as a result?
