Parklife was about the Americanisation of the UK with shopping malls and stuff all plastic whereas Oasis were about drugs and rock n roll.
I guess ideas that come from social feelings can evolve whereas songs about getting mashed last forever as they are but are harder to replicate.

Composition credits are whatever the band wants them to be. The Beatles didn't give Ringo credit for 99% of their songs, and Harrison is only given credit for the songs he wrote. All the rest are "Lennon/McCartney."

I didn't mention to composition credits as proof that you are wrong. I mentioned them because I don't see any evidence that Albarn was solely responsible. The composition credits could have been proof, if they listed only Albarn, but they don't. And Albarn being solely responsible doesn't match what I've read in the past.

It does make you a co-writer. Songs aren't just lyrics and lead vocals. Without bass lines and rhythm sections, the songs wouldn't work.

That is debateably true about Blur, but definitely not with Gorillaz. Dan the Automator, Kid Koala and Del the Funkee Homosapien have all been major parts of the song-writing for Gorillaz. Sure, Albarn is important but he's not the sole creative force.

Did he say in interviews about blur and oasis that damon was a genius who wrote all their great songs?
I guess not.

Band members can be session musicians like Ringo in the Beatles.
The only reason we know of certain bands is because of the songs.
There are bands in every pub up and down the world playing in pubs but Brian Wilson stayed at home and wrote the Beach Boys songs.
Would we be talking about the Beach Boys if one of the others was responsible for the songs?
I think not.
Anyway, I was crediting Albarn and you turn on me.
If I credit Oasis you turn on me.
