surprising 1st choice. Fun and good no doubt, but a band like Grandaddy would be in my top 10 (of similar ilk)

Explosions in the sky is f'ing amazing. If you like them you should check out Do make say think. They are another indie band and they just sound amazing. Mogwai is another good one, or appleseedcast

just saw God is An Astronaut and have their album/ep. Quite similar to EITS, a bit less intense tho...
