Fruit Bats (lyrics, pop, favorite song, myspace, show)

Seattle ftw, its kind of like the Elected minus all the elliott influences I guess? They have that sunny folk sound, I guess it kind of reminds me of the Shins maybe but I never really listened to them. I only have the songs on their myspace so no really point in recommendations, my favorite song is probably Lives of Crime.

There are some parts where they sound so much like The Shins that it's a bit distracting lyrics are good enough to keep my attention. I'm kind of surprised that they're on Sun Pop with songs like A Bit of Wind which if I didn't consciously hit play would've sworn it was The Shins. They're something that I'd definitely go to a show but definitely wouldn't buy an album.

But they're better than the Shins cause they're from seattle and it's to be expected they sound like the Shins seeing as it's Eric Johnson.
