Ok-I really like the LCD SOUNDSYSTEM remix you did, and the mix is servicable (far better than I could do), however I found I could'nt differentiate between some tracks. Unless it's an ambient mix, I like to hear some peaks and troughs' as it were; mixes that are slightly different and incorporate other genres eg drum n bass, dub mixes etc.
Please don't get disheartened at all, it's just an opinion. I just like to hear a melting pot os sounds, even if it is electronica. Keep me posted about other mix's. |

that's great feedback - thanks
(i ask for ALL responses - and to be honest I prefer less positve feedback so I can make these better in the future)This mix I quite purposely used tracks that fit VERY well together and so it's hard to differentiate the start/end (i threw out over 50 tracks making this session - lol)... but that said, each of the songs stand alone so you certainly knew when the next track had started... I hate trance cd's where 30 mins later you haven't noticed the song had changed 4 times already but as each of the songs has it's own 'tune' it's less an issue than with trance I think. My future mixes will be less 'flowing' as I won't have time to spend picking the 'perfect' songs and mixes ![]() (fyi - my first 3 may be more to your liking as well - there are here - IndiElectronica Online Radio Station) |

am i agreeing with you? no this cant be... i take it back... i like singles!.... **** i am lying. i usually prefer to look at the whole album.. it makes it more of an art. the thing about dj'ing is that (more often than not) you really aren't gonna have the attention of the people very long, so it becomes more important to hit them with big singles that will catch them. i will check your shiz out though, i can still enjoy a good mix now and again.
