The Minders
Ex-members from Apples in Stereo formed this but left later on. I have two of their albums, Hooray for Tuesday being my favorited. They're great 60s inspired indie-pop and sadly should get more recognition then they do. They're on Elephant Six. The songs on their myspace aren't the best but last.fm has a full track.

I have "Cul-De-Sacs and Dead Ends"
Which I haven't listened to in ages I distinctly remember that this band generally puts me in a good mood though
