Default Willy Mason

Just brought this guys debut album, its called "where the humans eat". have to say its one of the finest albums ive ever heard and thats no exaggeration- he wil be huge. its inevitable hes going to be compared to dillon and to be honest, i can see why. the album has a very chilled feel to it- its simplicity is its strength: guitar, drums, vocals. despite its simplicity its not folk yet its not indie or alternative either, he is hard to categorize, yet the point is his lyrics are both passionate and soulful, they will move you- this is the guy to lead the new generation. finally, in this period of music ****dom, we have a true artist emerging. anyway, i like the guy as you can see, what do those of you who've heard him think? and if you havent heard him..just listen to "oxygen".

I heard Oxygen a couple times, its not bad. But it was just on in the background, wasn't really assessing it. He's touring the UK now, was gonna go along with my mate to check him out as she wanted to go, but it just sold out.

saw him at the gonzo tour briefly- thats how i got into him. hes ok live, half the people didnt know who he was though so they kinda just stood there silent. he probably was the highlight of the whole thing though.

hello.. ive heard "oxygen" and thats all.. but to be honest.thats all i need to hear. hes a ****ing genuis if you ask me? very good indeed. dont want him to be over-recognised though or he'll soon become very like damien rice. He'll only have knacker fans who think they have a ****ing clue about everything. Hes gonna do well though. does anyone think that in some of the pics on his website he looks frightfully like jeff buckley? oh jeff... *sigh*
