bright eyes, just because I like The Faint and Conan Oberst is such a skilled songwriter.

Iron and Wine doesn't seem to have much style shift ability. While I like his style, its hard to conceive he'd create an equivelent to Digital Ash in a Digital Urn.

thats actually extremely true. almost every iron and wine song sounds similar, however, they sound different enough to listen to a whole cd. I like bright eyes alot though. my favorite bright eyes song is the first day of my life, and my favorite iron and wine song is cinders and smoke.

id have to agree with you on the fact that alot of their stuff sounds the same... i havnt heard too much of bright eyes, ive been trying to download some of their stuff but i havnt really found any. i really like iron and wine tho, he really has a style of his own. this summer im hopin to see him along with alot of other bands at bonnaro. anybody else planin on going?
