Default Two Door Cinema Club

Hey everyone, so today Two Door Cinema Club released information on their upcoming album, Beacon. I for one am really looking forward to it.

It's going to be released on September 3rd, and you can find a trailer preview on youtube (I can't post it because I can't post links yet I believe.)

Anyway, I saw them in 2010 in Philly when their album had just really been released, and before their songs were in commercials and what not, but what do you guys think about them? I loved Tourist History, and so did pretty much every friend I showed the album to.

I thought Tourist History was pretty solid. I'm awaiting Beacon.

They're gonna be at Lollapalooza the first weekend of August, so I might end up seeing them. Maybe they'll play some new material?

edit: nevermind, that's Bombay Bicycle Club!

I'm seeing Bombay Bicycle Club July 30th in NYC, should be awesome, I have their albums, but haven't listened to every song yet. I'm going at the suggestion of a friend.

Someday I'll go to a festival like Lollapalooza. Some of my friends are going to Firefly in Delaware next month, but I decided not to go because there were 4 of them and the campsite was for 4 people, so I didn't want to screw up their camping with a 5th person. And then I tried to win tickets all last week for it through a local radio station, but had no luck. Oh well!

Well, from what I understand, they've stepped things up lyrically at least. I believe their lyrics are deeper, but this link has some good information regarding the album I'd say: Two Door Cinema Club announce new album 'Beacon' | News | NME.COM

I don't know much about Jacknife Lee, but the fact that he's produced for Bloc Party, U2, and REM, looks like there's going to be some good influence in this album.

fantastic stuff, I love tourist history. I'm just worried that beacon will be even more electronic, at least that's how it sounded in the preview.

Yeah I can agree that I think it'll be more electronic, but I think it'll still have killer guitar riffs and other elements that made Tourist History so good.

Just got tickets to see them September 28th too, can't wait.
