Default The Radio Dept.

They're one of my favourite post-2000 indie bands, so these guys need a thread. Despite forming in 1995 they've only released three albums to date, all of them quality, along with several EPs and singles. I would describe their overall sound as that of fuzzy summer nostalgia. I'm really hoping for some new material from these guys in the not so distant future.

From Lesser Matters (2003):

From Clinging to a Scheme (2010):

From Pet Grief (2006):

oh ya these guys are great. they were one my staples for summer transit, along with Wild Nothing, Bilinda Butchers, The Field Mice, B&S, etc. would be cool if they came out with something in 2015. haven't heard any news from them in a while

They released a compilation a couple of years ago called Passive Aggressive, which was a singles collection. It's been over four years since their last album so I really hope they release something in 2015.

Lesser Matters is generally seen as their best album so that would be a good place to start.
