Blur > Kid Koala > Gorillaz

But I do enjoy them.

I like the idea of the GORILLAZ. Kudos to Albarn for an innovative project. Both albums contain pure brilliance and banality in equal measure. they still deserve a place in my collection though.

gorillaz kick ass. both albums offer something different and really good. i really enjoyed both cds. anything damon albarn touches has been gold for me. the good the bad and the queen debut was impressive imo, check it out if you dont have it.

And don't forget the Monkey opera they're putting on at the Manchester International Festival quite soon - the whole thing looks like it's going to be amazing!

The first album of theirs is brilliant, i'd go as far as to say Clint Eastwood is one of my fave singles ever. 2nd albums pretty good too.
It was through them i was introduced to Del tha Funkee Homosapien as well, another plus.

i really dig the artwork that is associated with gorillaz. i like the idea of putting more into a band than JUST the music (even though it is enough).

I really want to see Gorillaz live. The whole 3D characters thing looks so cool.

When the first album came around a couple of the singles had remixes being played on the radio instead of the originals but that never seemed to happen with the second album. I wonder why that is. The remixes were pretty good.

I think I'd stick them in 'pop' myself but genres always overlap.
