Thumbs up Metric? The Wrens? The Walkmen? The Unicorns? Xiu Xiu?etc.

Does anyone have any thoughts on these groups? I am a fan, personally. I just bought Bows + Arrows (the new Walkmen cd). I am quite impressed. Old World Underground, Where Are You Now? by Metric and Meadowlands by The Wrens are two of my favourite albums at the moment. Any opinions?

I love The Unicorns. "Who Will Cut Our Hair When We're Gone?" is a great album. And out of the rest, I've only heard of Xiu Xiu, but I haven't heard much to voice a solid opinion, but so far so good.

I haven't really heard any of the walkmen's new stuff but I love their old!
btw, i 'discovered' them when their song 'we've been had' played in a car ad. Great song, odd ad.
