I agree with adidasss... Small festivals are quite cool. The atmosphere is much better, cuz everybody's quite relaxed.
And, of course, Glastonbury's line-up is just f***ing awesome, but anyway... You're not able to watch every single gorgeous band.

Anyone who watched Mando Diao @ Leeds/Readingfestival?

(Sorry, Imonly...)

fair nuff. but i'd say reading/leeds and glasto are both big (though glasto is very...). I go to ashton court festi in bristol every year and that's only 5-10k and really enjoy it. Main problem with small festis though is you don't get as good a line-up. But at same time I see a lot of bands I've not heard of which is cool.

A guy I work with went to glastonbury & spent the whole time tripping his tits off with mushrooms.

I think he said he saw one band but he doesn`t remember who.

very true, if only you could get the leads/reading line up and a smaller crowd, would be perfect....

He was eating Hallucinagenic mushrooms and the effect is traditionally called "trippin'", if he was in fact "tripping his tits off" it probably means the effect of the mushrooms was intense rather than say "light".

More importantly, I think its awesome people skipped Pixies to see Kasabian, I don't like one thing about that band (Kasabian). Not only are they a flash in the pan, but this particualr pan seems to be dispoable. Plus I read someone on here they lied about where they were from to fit in with some scene. Morons.

PLus the pixies are from Boston...ownage.

Umm this is a band who go onstage wearing Leicester City football shirts , I don`t see how they can lie about where they`re from.
