Hello forum folks. I'm Bill, and I felt deprived not having a forum anymore, this was the first music forum I found, it was cool, and I joined. I'm kind of odd, and my posts often will make little to no sense, but chalk it up to living in hotels and working 3rd shift, being stressed like hell, too much drinking, not enough sleep, and smoking too many cigs. I swear, I really am a nice guy.

Musical interests are across the board, have a collection of about 150GB right now, mostly rock, some rap, a little country, select pop, classical, etc etc. Favorite artists include RATM, Rehab, Pink Floyd, Authority Zero, Matisyahu, Ben Folds, Stone Sour, and Rush. I joined because I wanted to find people who knew more music than I did, so that I could expand my horizons and find new music to enjoy.

Rush and RATM, good in my book.

Saw Rush last year while I was working for a radio station. They're still good, but you could kinda tell they were getting a little old. Never got to see RATM...hopefully they have another reunion show.

Actually, I'm a field technician for a really uber-big government contractor company. My job requires me to travel to the FAA Air Traffic Control Centers and work on hardware for a new system they're going to implement in a few years. The sucky part is I only get to be "home" 2 days a month, so the rest of the time I live in a hotel wherever I'm working. 3 more weeks in LA, then off to NYC.
Thanks for the welcome by the way

None taken. It's really not all that bad once you get used to it, and plus, it looks really good on the resume of a 22 year old to have been picked up right out of college and do the work in that environment.

Plus, they pay me just to be here, even if I don't work...so that's a plus.

Your life sounds like it could be pretty interesting.
Welcome, btw.
