Default hey from flagstaff, az

Hey everyone. My name is Reid and I'm a saxophone performance major at NAU. I used to post a lot on some other music boards but quit once the boards started to focus more on drama than music. I thought I was done posting until I realized that the longer I was away from music forums the more behind I got on finding new music. So now I'm back to get back in to the loop and maybe contribute a little.

-Reid

That's always a tough question to answer. Usually I just answer by saying the first things that come to mind.

I was raised on the Beatles so they'll always be number one. Currently what comes to mind are bands like Devotchka, Decemberists, Arcade Fire, NMH, the typical classic rock bands from led to the zombies to the stooges, sufjan stevens, spoon, andrew bird, and all the ones that I'll think I should have put after I post this.

I also love classical music. Russian composers are usually my favorite, but I'm fairly across the board when it comes to classical.
