the past week was by far the most surreal and most interesting week of my life....besides the white stripes concert ( which i though deserved a thread of it's own ) we met a group of Scottish lads ( yes...Scottish )...in novalja of all places....they're traveling through europe and someone in Prague told them they should come to novalja because it's a wicked party place....an extremely interesting group of people....very very cool....( their accent was wicked cool )...their knowledge of music of course surpasses mine, so does their concert experience ( they saw every band i love live....the motherfuckers....)
this is me and my sis going back home after the white stripes concert ( you'll notice in the background a catamaran called novalja...that's how we got home)

a little info on Olib, it's a very small island, only one village on it, it has about 200 inhabitants during the winter, over the summer it goes to about 600, some 100 years ago it had over 2000 people but they all emigrated to america in search of a better life, in the summer their kids and grandkids come so you can hear english being spoken very often, there are very few tourists so it's a great place to go to if you wanna relax ....just you and the crickets.....pure silence at night........summer vibe.....mediterranian......
