Hello...

I'm not sure what to say >.<

I'm new to the forum. It looks really interesting.

I play bass guitar, used to be in a band but I quit 'cause I realized I'm not a person who plays emo or punk. I'm more into the heavy stuff.

I...came on this forum to meet musicians, chat with people...and I guess basically to do everything on this site...and I'm confusing myself But I'm sure you all know what I mean.

Before I make any more of a fool of myself, I'm just going to say one more thing.

let me be the first to welcome you to our hideout. I recomend checking out the songs page in the punk forum for some good tunes. Alot of heavy aggressive punk on there.

i hope you know your music, at least that way they wont be able to bash you because of your lack of knowledge....

if you have a good knowledge of music then you should be fine..

tell you what just so i can tell you whether you need to watch it or not...
give me a band for each genre.

1. punk
2. pop punk
3. metal
4. emo
5. screamo
6. rap
7. pop
8. country
9. rock
10. classic rock


if you can give me at least one good band for each of those....you should be good for a while. when people suggest bands though, go find some of thier music. that will help you broaden your musical taste, and will get you more respect here.

5. dashboard is not screamo....check out saetia, saosin, etc check out some of the threads in the emo forum.

6. eminem...ehh....i hate rap so i dont really care....that was just to make sure.....

7. you should be able to name at least one crappy a$$ pop artist that is wasting our radio waves these days.

again....take my advice and listen to some of the bands that people mention here, that and dont make any posts that make you sound like an idiot, and you should be just fine.
