Default Howdy

How y'all doin' out there tonight! My name is Lee, most people call me Tex. I'm originally from Texas (hence the nickname - these guys are so creative), and I'm a fiddler by training. Love country music, but I do enjoy rock, classical and a bit of "pop" I suppose. I'm an MP in the US Army, stationed outta Ft Bragg. I dunno what else to tell y'all except looking forward to hangin' out gettin' to know y'all and enjoying some music together.

Thanks. I've got a wide taste in music: Three Days Grace, Rise Against, Josh Turner, Zac Brown Band, Nickelback, Brooks & Dunn (although they broke up of course), The Beach Boys, just to name a few!

Alright. Sounds like you have some fairly diverse tastes. Just a small bit of warning though. You may take some **** for liking Nickelback around here.

Glad to have you though. Settle in and get to know your way around. Any questions, just ask.

Yeah it won't be the first time I've gotten the burn over that, nor will it be the last! Not the first time I've gotten the burn over anything, to be honest! I'm an MP, we tend to get the crap anyways - from stupid calls about rigs blocking drive ways to people wondering around buck naked.

And to tell you the truth, I don't like all of their stuff, but then again I'm like that with all bands. I say I "like" a band - well I do - but it's generally about 60% of their stuff. I don't think I can really say I'm 100% in love with anybody.

My step-father was an MP in the Korean War. I was arrested by some MP's when I was stationed in Germany, so there's a tie-in there somewhere.

Nickelback though... they're ok if you like that sort of thing. But, that horse has been beaten, skinned, and made into glue many times.

I mean, it's all good. People like what they like, don't particularly bother me one way or the other. Now on the flip side of the coin I don't like them enough to have bothered to go to a concert or anything like that.

Rig blocking the road and a guy running around buck naked were two calls I responded to yesturday. You'd think - it being a military post an' all - people might have some decency. Naw...you'd be wrong!

Welcome aboard, interesting job, looking forward to more of your patrol stories.
You'll find a lot of music here, some of the members here are like walking musical encyclopedias.

Here's something to get you started, some classic rock with interesting country mannerisms mixed in.
