I wonder if Dark Horse already understands the nature of MB and was just trying to get some decent obscure metal recs by saying they're not into the genre

Metal is changing a lot, I truly think there's something for everyone. If you dig jazz then by extension you will probably like some metal. A lot of bands are blending the two to the point where you can't tell where one genre starts and the other begins.
