One of my college professors said Frank was the master of "floating" in his style of singing. I guess that means the way he transitioned from one phrase to the next? not positive about that though.
I like some Sinatra but only in small doses, I thought his voice was unique and haven't heard anybody since who sounded like he did. I know some say Michael Buble is a young Sinatra but I don't hear it. Also, I heard Sinatra wasn't the easiest to work with... back in those days everyone in the band and Sinatra had to be perfectly in sync as they recorded in one shot (no multi-tracking).
