My faves:
Grant Green Wes Montgomery Kenny Burrell Pats got the chops, but I have a hard time of thinking of him as a "jazz" guitarist. He's too "new Age" for my tastes

I would like to hear some more Metheny. I love his work on one of my favourite live albums Shadows and Lights by Joni Mitchell.

Iv'e seen other videos from this show, although I was more in tune with watching Jaco play. Didn't even know till this vid that Pat was there too.

Jaco does dominate but the whole band are so damn good. I will have to get that album. I used to have it on vinyl back in the good old days!

His new trio album is really good. It is with Antonio Sanchez and Christian McBride. However, other FANTASTIC jazz guitarists are John Scolfield and Bill Frisell. It gets to a point where they are all so amazing you can't judge...
