Probably more so that it wasn't Lil Wayne, or something of the sort.

This is partly true, because now I expect it to happen, and I guess I kinda "look out for it". Subconsciously.

Default Why Worry

Why do you worry and stress over what people think?
If you love jazz, then live it, love it and do it !!

Yeah, I guess some people react to it oddly. I mean, I love both jazz and classical, and when I bring this up to someone I usually get odd looks from them - more frequently if it's someone from my age group, though. Older adults seem to appreciate that a young fella listens to something other than Skynyrd and club hits.

That's exactly what I was thinking! I love the legal free download when I can find it. Last one I got was from a new jazz group called Project Grand Slam. Fantastic musicians.

Kirby is taking me back with the "License to Ill" album. Wow. Good Times.

Music is personal, just ignore them. Jazz is great.

Meh, backwards glances that you expect to be directed at a 20 year old looking at Bitch's Brew don't bother me in the slightest. They wouldn't if I still used music shops much anyway

It's all in your head, nobody gives a flying f*ck what you're buying.

I buy in bulk and so there is a vast mix and I never get any looks.

If you go in expecting (hoping) people to be amazed by your 'eclectic taste in music' then anytime people look at you, you automatically assume they think 'oh my god, this man is a god!'
