For Herbie Hancock, my favorites are probably:

An Evening with Herbie Hancock & Chick Corea
Head Hunters
Speak Like A Child
Future Shock
River

In that order, I believe.

Exclamation Good morning blues

hi,

I'm searching for some good (blues) music to get up with. Blues that makes you hungry. Something like
Taj Mahal "Lovin in my Babys Eyes" or
Tom Waits "I'll be gone"
Anyone?

Thanks in advance,
Gene

I'm looking for an album or two that's somewhat similar to Sun Ra's earlier, more conventional work (i.e. Jazz in Silhouette, Visits Planet Earth, etc).

How about a little Clifford Brown?

With Max Roach...

With Art Blakey...
