Default Louis Armstrong, anyone?

I just thought we might discuss him a bit. Not only did he have an amazing voice, but he was very talented with the trumpet. I truly love his music. Any other fans out there?

Its impossible to overlook Louis Armstrong as one of the greatest trumpet players ever. One of the first jazz musicians I ever heard. My dad use to have alot of the hot 7 stuff and that and blues are what I was raised on. Then he lost half of his reocrd collection to a house fire, and his jazz collection was baisically gone forever. But anyway, Louis Asrmtstrong is incredible.

One post? This is sad. I love Louis Armstrong. He's a wonderful musician.

Not really a fan. I appreciate that he was good though. I just don't like it. If that makes any sense.

I know what you mean..

I have some his songs on my media player, and he was an amazingly talented musician, but it's just not really my musical preference.

My favorite song is Stardust, hands down.

I'll take some Satchmo anytime....

May I also mention Earl Hines too. Try Louis Jordan, and Count Basie as well.

The best music ever was made in the 1940s.

to be honest I wouldn't call his voice "amazing" at all, but it was deffinetely different and recognizable.
