It really depends on how you like your Blues. The guitar and harmonica give off different tones. Harmonica gives a more lively-sounding Blues, but the guitar gives it a more mellow-sounding Blues. It all depends on your favorite "flavor" of Blues.

anything can play the Blues.. But the guitar + harmonica cant be beat....

just watch the Crossroads 2007 if you want specific proof
or listen to SRV in his later days (such as The House is Rockin)
or B.B. King's stuff...piano all over it....

Piano can play the blues however Oscar Peterson was a JAZZ pianist not a Blues one. There is a big difference.

There are several piano genres that are quite blues like like stride piano, and boogie woogie of which doctor John is an aficionado.
