Clapton or SRV (blues, instrumental, hendrix, cover, guitar)

I only ask because I said that Steveie was better than eric the other day and I got laughed at. I don't know, to me, SRV plays much better blues guitar than clapton does. Even rolling stone said that clapton was 4 and vaughn was 7. Am I alone in thinking this?

sorry but ima have to go for clapton simply cos i havent heard as much of SRV.......

similar logic would be, cc deville is better than phil keaggy because i never heard phil keaggy.
