Default Mothers Day.

Seeing as I'm a Dad I bought, on behalf of the kids, the Nick Drake cd, 'Pink Moon' for my wife. (I didn't have it )

Is it Mothers day in other places around the world?

Most of the members on here are young, so what did you get for your mam/mom/mum?
Do you have plans for today?

My mum was happy,
I got her this really nice hand cream she'd wanted for a while,
it was expensive for a bloody hand cream though.
-_-
And of course a card.

Why in Gods name are football matches played on Mothers Day?

United v.Birmingham City live on Sky Sports...I'm making tea.

There should be a law against it!

Yeah it`s obvious Birmingham are probably going to lose like they did the other day.
What you want on Mothers day is a 0.0 borefest with 2 teams nobody gives a shit about.

Villa vs Middlesboro would have been perfect.

I made my mum breakfast in bed this morning,
And burned my hand making coffee,
And got treacle EVERYWHERE,
But I dont think she cared.
Cause I bought her vodka & chocolate as a mothers day gift
So its all good.

Now Ive had to go through the whole house and tidy/clean every square inch of it.. Damn mothers day privileges .. I dont make her clean the house on MY birthday!
Gosh.

Ha. It gets better. I've just been informed (by my wife) that Fathers Day is on June 18th.
That weekend I'm taking the wife to Liverpool on the Beatles Magical Mystery Tour, for her birthday...and won't be back until late Sunday.

Women are sneaky reptiles.
