It's 16 here too, but just because you have sex with a minor doesn't mean you're going to prison.

You're only going there if the minors PARENTS decide to prosecute you. Which is a terribly idiotic law.

If I'm 16 and he's 18 then yes I can consent.

I actually asked my brother who (a legal aid at the moment) about this and he wasn't too mature about the situation.

At any rate Vans starts in about two hours so I'll be quick about my next fantasies:

Aren't you in New York? The age of consent there is 17. The age in New Jersey is 16 (convenient for day trips I expect). How do I know? Google search!

The age of consent differs between different states in the US. As far as I can tell from this site, its the only country where that applies (maybe the people who put the list together were American and didn't really care...)
