She probably isn't racist.
Sometimes people (and not just girls) find they can't date someone because of their race. It's kinda common amongst poeple who are not mixed with anything and so are used to hanging out with people of their ownr ace adnc an't imagine themselves amrrying outside their race.
It happeend to my friend. She's full blooded Cantonese and can't see herself marrying someone that isn't Cantonese. Well that changed cause she's dating a Korean. But well you get the idea.

But to be sure, you should definitely just ask your girlfriend.
If this is bothering you this much then go back to the source of your anxiety.

Doesn't sound racist to me. If she's still fine chatting to black people without looking for the club, it's the same as preferring a blonde to a brunette. I personally don't find black chicks as attractive as white chicks. That doesn't mean I think they're different as a person, I just don't see as many walking around that I think "ooh, I'd **** 'er no probs" about.

Maybe your girlfriend watched too many Liverpool matches, got pissed off by Emile Heskey and decided she didn't want to risk going out with a guy who reminded her of him. This comment may only make sense to me, but watching that guy play football I could almost feel myself becoming racist via associating being black with a man who falls over the ball, falls over while running and is generally clumsy and crap.

i don't think she's a racist.

I myself have black friends but i could never see myself dating a black person. i agree with what hobo said skin color, and eye color i look at it the same way.. I like a guy to have any eye color, and brown hair tall and not thin but not fat.. and well i don't like big lips on men nor big noses..but personalities i also look for somethings that any race and any person can have.. we all look for things in people but it shouldn't make us look racist.. it just does because these days we have to be so picky with our words in case that one person thinks its racesit then word to mouth everyone does.
