If I have rollers in my hair to curl it (lame, I know) I have nightmares about the curls not working. Every time, without fail. Then I wake up swearing.

That's a big fear of mine.

I used to have nightmares about being sucked out of my bedroom window.

These days I have nightmares about being back at my old job *shudder*

And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that.

-deep, deep dark water, i'm talking a couple of miles down, - this one frightens the **** out of me and my mother.

- heights, since my dad thought it would be funny to hang me off the top of kidwely castle as a child. (but it's far from as bad as the first one)

OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! finally someone else, my mates used to do it to me in crowded corridors when i was a wee lad so i'd get trampled in the crowds, touching the back of my neck will COMPLETELY imobilize me, and nobody ever takes it as something serious. it's a right bastard thing to be stuck with...

is your father micheal jackson? haha sorry had to say it..

I had this same dream sense i was around 5 years old.. about how i'm so small comparend to everything else.. how much bigger things would look if you were a mouse.... anywaysand i'm walking down this road and everything is moving.. and then i walk in the building, only its my bedroom (but it looked nothing like my real bed room) and then its all messy and i have to clean it up.. and everything keeps moving and its all so big..

I would get this dream every so offten when i was a kid.. i would only get it around the time when my room would get really messy. So i guess i'm a clean freak now because i never want to have those dreams again.. I know they don't seem freaky or scray.. but being in it freaks me out so much.

My only phobia is big water. I went on a fishing boat once, and as soon as we got out where we couldn't see land, I panicked. I didn't even know I had that fear. I've never been out that far again.

However, true to my nature, I pondered for years afterward why I reacted in such a bad way, and I figured it out. It was because I couldn't see land. I can go fishing out in the bay, no problem. As long as I can see land, I'm ok.

The thing is, if the boat sinks in the bay, I am going to drown, but at least I know I'm swimming the right way, toward shore. But, out in the ocean, if the boat sinks, I am still going to drown, but I might actually be swimming away from shore. That thought terrifies me.

Do it until you become desensitized. Break the fear.

I can't be poked. It's not a fear, I'm just really sensitive to a prod. I'd rather have the blunt thud of a punch then a prod.
