England looked like crap, they are extremely lucky Paraguay didn't score. I hope they improve considerably before the next coming games.
At the bar I went to for the England game, some old fella got tossed out at 10:00AM for being too drunk. Thats my schtick

They didn't. In the second half they were below average, but not crap. First half they played well, but didn't capitalise on the chances they had. They still weren't crap though.

It`s just the first game. Loads of teams do badly in their first game & go on to win it.England drew 0 : 0 with Uruguay in 1966 in the opening game then.
I fully expect them to destroy T & T in the next game.

Ok, I have a question. I was looking at the standings this morning in the paper, and all the teams that won got three points, except for one (I think it was England). They only got one point. Why is that?
