Well, close minded would imply I am not open to anything new, that my way is right and everyone else is wrong. That is simply not true. There is a big difference between being unwilling to try new things, and simply being uneducated about them.

EDIT* Saying "that sucks" or lumping all bands into one group without knowing anything about it, that is being close minded. I've never done anything of the sort. I've always said when I didn't know much about a band, and I've never given an opinion on anything I know very little about.
