My friend stopped smoking for her first three months. But her doctor said that if she kept it to a few cigarettes a day, she'd be fine. And she gave birth to a healthy baby.

No one can catch my witless wonder of jokes.

I'm just saying it's one thing risking your own health. You've lived through more life than a baby and already know it's gonna suck. Why take chances with an innocent baby?

since when do baby boys wear dresses and have bows in their hair?
smoking causes premature birth/ low birth weight. it does NOT affect mental capacity. although, i get the feeling that your mother might have been a drinker...

Exactly - it's gonna suck, so why thrust an innocent child into this world? The best times of my life were spent in the womb. Just laying around all day, didn't have to pay rent. Let the kid go out while he/she's on top, I say.

The mothers I've known who have smoked when pregnant have not been the most intelligent people in the world...

I got me a corn cob tobacco pipe. All I need is a thick Louisiana accent and a wheat hat and my "look to warn and inspire kids to stay in school" will be finished.
