What the heck IS cool??
Of a person, not showing emotion.
(colloquial) Of a person, knowing what to do and how to behave in any situation. (colloquial) In fashion. (colloquial) Of an action, all right, acceptable, that does not present a problem. (colloquial) Of a person, not upset by circumstances that might ordinarily be upsetting. I'm completely cool about my girlfriend leaving me. Being considered as "popular" by others. Unenthusiastic, lukewarm, skeptical. That right there is the wiktionary definition of the word cool, but there's more to it than that. With so many different things today being considered 'cool' it's almost impossible to slap a definition on it. But I think we should bloody well try. My definition is: A person that stands out in a good way, by being an individual and their own person. They gain respect from the people surrounding them by not following the crowd. |

The Wiktionary definition may aswell have said 'if you are a failure, then you are cool'.
