Anti-war.

Every pro-war argument in this thread is crap.

Without war, we would have no-one to defend ourselves against. sure you could argue that this would mean that we would have nothing to test us, but what about space, what about world hunger, what about the myriad of diseases that claim lives every second? War is not only a waste of life, it is a waste of resources. How much money does the US put into military resaerch every year? How far would that same amount of money go towards developing a cure for cancer, or a vaccine for AIDS, were there no such thing as war? War will happen, there is nothing we can do to prevent Evil-Minded Bastards being born, and stopping gullible masses of patriots and fanatics falling for their speeches, but that doesn't mean that those of us who are actually thinking have to like the fact that this is going to happen.

I don`t really see how anybody can be 'Pro War' , if you are then i`m sorry but you are sick wanting that to happen.

Sure I might get invaded by Nazis/Commies/Aliens and have to fight them for freedom. That doesn`t mean i`m pro war it means i`m doing it out of necessity not choice.

How can people honestly say they are pro-war?
What is there to be pro about?

I'm pro "people killing each other ruthllessly for no purpose at all"
I'm pro "civillians being slaughtered in record numbers due to carelessness"
I'm pro "killing these civillans/soldiers ruthlessly"

Is war really something to be pro? That's like saying you are pro-AIDS or pro-Mass Murder.
Does that make much sense?
