I hate everything about Facebook. Stupid pointless notifications about people I don't know and couldn't care less about, photo tagging, annoying updates that have no value.

It took me about four years of hearing about it and denying it until I finally created a Facebook profile. My original intentions were to promote our local shows to everybody who stopped using Myspace. The next thing I know, I'm getting bull**** updates from people that I didn't even talk to in high school. It's got it's ups and downs.

You can hide people and apps from your news feed (on the news feed page hold your cursor over the update and a button should pop up top right). I've done this to a LOT of people :P

That's a good idea. I didn't know about it so I just deleted those people. My good friends and family don't do it, mostly just corny ass people from school.

Can anyone answer this question about facebook? I joined a group on there that has the "LIKE" button to join. For some reason, there is no wall in the group that will allow me to post messages, links, etc. yet i see other members who have posted stuff. Very odd that i don't see a wall at all. I checked all my security settings and it seems ok. Any ideas on why? Thank you.

accounts in fb have been hacked quite a bit over the year. this is probably why they have tightened the screws a bit.
