We didn't have much money...it must have killed my parents to buy that tv.
It changed my life at the time...having a tv in my room was like... freedom.
Funny what sticks in the mind.

best present i ever got from a family member was my quincenera dress from my grandmom.
I never wore the dress cause i was scared I'd ruin it beyond repair. but i know it cost a lot of money and i felt really special to have it.
