you'd have to reach across your body. It's not as convinient. Well I guess the space would determine how convinient. Which is a physical influence.

Before I posted I turned over two cds and did it and thought about why I did it.

Decisions are reactions based on logic, knowledge and morals. You either embrace or neglect.
but you have the freedom to decide how you want to live your life, how you chose to be as you grow up and to an extend who you choose to live your life with. im nopt ignoring isuues such as upbringing etc, they can push you one way or another, but the basis of my argument is we all have the freedom to choose what we want to do, this includes ignoring or embracing such factors.

So a person consistently placed under bad influences has the capacity to consistently do the right thing?

well lets have an example, many brazilian footballers grow up in the most hellacious of environments, surrounded by poverty and gang culture, yet they dont follow it, they become worldclass sportmen. So, i think yes, everybody has the capacity, its just down to what they want to do, which if im not mistaken, is free will.

I wouldn't be surprised if many are both untill they get the money that the need to not do it anymore.

What you want depends on what you know. That's why so many billion dollars are spent on advertising.

Advertising is just another external factor that can affect an individuals decision, it doesnt detract away from the fact that people do have the capacity to make their own decisions.

A question, you find a bag of money on the pavement, do you adhere to moral constructs created through the social structure and hand it in to the police,or, do you pick it up and take it for yourself?

Give it to someone who needs it. Obviously if the person who lost it desperately needed it then they should've taken better care of it. I don't trust police and I don't need it. So I'd take a bum out to lunch and clean him up real nice. Depending on how bunch board him and get him a job as well.

the reason i gave you that 'predicament' is because its a prime example of free will, you decide what you want to do with and you ignore the influence of your social environment by chosing for yourself that you are going to give it to a tramp. same with brazilian footballers, they chose to ignore the environment and go about doing things their own way.

Not really. I'd say my decision lines up pretty well with influences.

most decent, respectable human beings are bought up with certain moral codes, such as not talking to strangers, saying please/thankyou and handing in what does not belong to you. the fact you have chosen not to adhere to these rules is due to free will, your not forced into making your decision are you.
